What can a peer support group offer me?
Whether you are a new mom, or this is your 3rd child, we all could benefit from a little extra support from time to time. Support groups are a wonderful way to connect with like-minded individuals, share personal stories, and learn from the experiences of others who "get it". It serves as a reminder that you are not alone.
What can you gain from attending a peer support group? Besides connecting with other moms, you will be provided you with psycho-educational information and tools to help you cope with common struggles that many mothers face in their first year postpartum.
Most importantly, support groups provide a safe, encouraging, and confidential environment where
participants can share & learn from one another. I hope you will join us!
