As your counsellor, my goal is to foster a sense of security and trust by bringing empathy, a calm presence, and an open heart to each session. I hope to create a safe space in which you feel comfortable unpacking your thoughts and emotions. Additionally, I will tailor our time together to fit your needs, using techniques that will work best for you and providing coping strategies so that you can feel empowered to take charge and achieve your goals.

I have extensive experience working with children through my role as a social and emotional learning teacher and am eager to work with adult individuals as well. Much like when working with adults, my hope when working with children is to help them to feel heard, feel supported, and feel empowered to reach their goals.

My passions other than counselling include playing soccer, volleyball, and rugby, along with
painting at the beach.

I am currently in my final year of the Master's of Education in School Counselling program at
City University.

Gabrielle is being mentored by Stefanie Iverson & Jennifer Povoledo
